Give the ones you love an experience of a lifetime... fulfill that childhood dream and stay in a Tipi.  A fun alternative. Our Tipis offer the perfect solution for the adventurous, situated on the age old Ute Indian route between the summer hunting grounds in and around Gunnison and the winter retreat around Montrose.

We have two tipis.  Each sleeps up to four comfortably. One is furnished with two double futons, a propane gas fire, an electric light and some basic shelving. The other is furnished with a double futon and a double bed,  basic linen, a wood stove, an electric light and some basic shelving.  

Showers and restrooms are conveniently nearby. The tipis will keep you sheltered from the elements, but in the early spring and autumn, the tipis can get a little cold at night. The tipis have an electric outlet in them, and electric heating is available on request.

The tipi daily rates are $35 /day. More detailed rates are available on our rates page.  A linen fee of $15 will be charged if your stay is for one night only. (Unless you bring your own sleeping bags) In order to reserve and guarantee a tipi, we require a one-night deposit paid with a credit card. As far as our cancellation policy goes , we require a notice of 7 full days before the reservation date and we will refund your deposit less a $10 cancellation fee for processing. Please note however that over holiday weekends, we enforce a NO cancellation and No refund policy.
