DID YOU KNOW?! Colorado is ranked in the US as the #2 happiest state (after Hawaii)?? Pretty cool!

As summer here in Gunnison, Colorado is getting closer and the snow is melting into the rivers and lake, we have been gearing up for a happy season at Mesa RV Resort.

Joining us this year is a wonderful crew of workampers! They have already become part of the Mesa RV Resort family and have been working hard to get the grounds ready for our 2013 guests.

What is a workamper?  Workampers are adventurous individuals who have chosen a wonderful lifestyle that combines part-time or full-time work with RV camping.

James and Melba are here again for their 4th Season. Over the years, they have both put in much work both in the office and the grounds. I’m sure you can all remember their beautiful flowers last year!.

This season , we have three new workamping couples joining us:

George and Kelli are on the road and will be with us by Monday! Travel safe!

Sierra whom many of you will remember will be helping out with cleaning and some gardening.

and we also have Ariel arriving later this month who will be helping us with cleaning .

As many of you are aware, our workampers work hard before and during the season to bring you the high standard you have come to expect here at Mesa RV Resort. They contribute to many aspects of life at the resort and we are happy to welcome them all to the team. We are sure that you will all find them helpful, friendly and ready to make your stay with us pleasant and fun.

The creeks through the Resort are running and the grass is greening up fast. We have had some good rain and everything is starting to come alive. The swallows family are back and busy rebuilding their nest above the Rec-Hall doors, the humming birds are already zooming around looking for the feeders and the night-crawlers are popping out of the ground teasing the Robins. Also..We have it on good authority that the fishing is wonderful...
