Last season we added two cabins to the Resort. These proved very popular and were booked back to back for the whole summer. Already this year we are booking up fast so don’t miss out!  Our cabins were built by our son Andy and were designed specifically to provide a camping rather than a hotel experience. There is NO television but there is free wifi access. Located as we are in the midst of the most wonderful breathtaking wilderness that surrounds Gunnison there is no shortage of fun outdoor activities to enjoy and appreciate..a great way to escape TV ads and the media.

The cabins are similar and can sleep a maximum of 6. The main bedroom has a queen size bed, a few basic shelves and hooks, two rustic bedside tables, a bedside light and an electric heater for the occasional cool night. The living area is furnished with two double futons and also includes an electric heater. There is a kitchen fitted with a kitchen sink, an undercounter refrigerator, an electric stove and a microwave. The kitchen includes a set of  basic cooking pots, pans, dishes and eating utensils. There is no coffee pot. Both cabins are equipped with restroom facilities, including a shower. There is an outdoor table and chairs on the deck.  A propane grill can be rented for $10/night. The cabins are also situated across from our communal fire-pit which everyone is welcome to utilize.

We provide basic linen and towels but DO NOT provide house keeping or toileteries. A small selection of toileteries can be purchased from our front office where we also offer a towel exchange service.

A number of Allan’s framed photographs of the area hang in the cabins and these are offered for sale. You may enquire about these at the front office should you be interested.

Pets are permitted in the cabins  for no additional cost. We do ask however that you do not allow your pets to sleep on the beds in the cabins. Should we find that that has been the case and extra cleaning is necessary after your departure, we will be obliged to charge an extra cleaning fee to your credit card. Well behaved dogs/cats are allowed on a leash outdoors while the owners are present. You are asked to pick up after your pets. A dog/cat service is available should you not be able to take your pets with you on outings. For a small fee of $10/per pet, we will walk and feed them during your absence. Please make arrangements at the front office.

The cabin daily rates are $85 /day. More detailed rates are available on our rates page.  A linen fee of $15 will be charged if your stay is for one night only. In order to reserve and guarantee a cabin, we require a one-night deposit paid with a credit card. As far as our cancellation policy goes , we require a notice of 7 full days before the reservation date and we will refund your deposit less a $10 cancellation fee for processing. Please note however that over holiday weekends, we enforce a NO cancellation and No refund policy and if guests fail to arrive or do not contact us, we will charge the full rate for the reservation.

Please note that any damage, extra cleaning due to pets or general miss-use of the cabins and missing items will be charged to your credit card either on or after your departure.
