Spring in Gunnison is full of surprises, from snow to sunshine. We have finished the new Rec Halll and the Photo Gallery. Now we are just waiting for our container so that we can furnish the two new venues with all sorts of interesting things we have collected on our travels around the world.

All thats left to do is the floor and the Rec Halll is done!!

Work is coming on with the Gallery and Rec Halll, we are painting and finishing so both will be ready withing the next two weeks. I have been slow with new photos on the blog but as soon as work is finished on the Gallery I will be getting out more. We are gearing up for a fun summer and expect Richard and Shanna on the 10th and Lenny and Barbara at the end of the month. We will also be welcoming 3 new Workamping couples in April so will have a good team in place to tackle all the work that needs to be done before the season starts.

Mick and Penny have been with us through the winter which has been a godsend as Andy had to leave in January and we could only get back on the 7th March. Mick has been working flat out with me to get the various projects done and Penny has been a star manning the office with Francie taking bookings and getting all the admin sorted.

The new Recreation Halll is taking shape, plastering should be finished today, paint and lighting will follow.

It should be finished by the end of the week and will be a great asset to the Resort.

Coming back from Montrose with more building supplies for the new Recreation Room I came across this scene. Blue Mesa Lake is still iced over but despite that you can see why they called it the Blue Mesa Lake.

The snow is slowly melting and the Gunnison River is swelling. This was taken on the bridge a mile from the park.
